Eight Technologies Named 2018 R&D 100 Awards Finalists
ITRI has been dedicated to addressing industry’s needs and presenting innovative solutions that are both cost-effective and eco-friendly, helping industry stay competitive and sustainable. Its efforts, once again, have been recognized by the R&D 100 Awards, with eight finalist nominations engaged in material and chemical, electrical, ICT, and analytical technologies. The winners will be announced on November 16 in Orlando, Florida.
The eight finalists selected are: (1) a dust-proof omniphobic coating, (2) a novel textile dyeing technology, (3) a UVC LED solution for water sterilization, (4) an energy-saving laser descaling agent technology, (5) an agentless application performance management system, (6) an automatic police UAV patrol system, (7) a handheld skin quality tomography device, and (8) an automatic recognition technology for gas leakage detection.
